What is Radio Frequency Skin Tightening?

Radiofrequency using our E-Luxx device means electricity travelling between positive and negative poles built into the device handpiece and placed against the skin. This flow of current produces heat deep in the dermis due to tissue resistance (called impedance). Different tissue has different levels of resistance and similar tissues will have different resistance in different individuals. We are all unique.

This flow of heat induces tissue tightening and contour changes through dermal collagen remodelling without disruption to the epidermis (surface of the skin).

Before treatment with natural ageing we have worn and broken elastic and collagen fibres, during treatment natural healing forms new fibres and after treatment (2-6 weeks) fibres contract causing skin to tighten.
